Arkansas Young Republicans Announce Agenda for Annual Day at the Capitol

Reception with the Governor, speakers and panels to educate Young Republicans on the State legislative issues that affect them and how they can get better involved in politics through the ARYR., March 4, 2019 - 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Little Rock, AR – February 19, 2019 – On March 4, Young Republicans from around the state will gather at the Arkansas State Capitol to meet with legislators and panelists to educate themselves on issues affecting the state.

Hunter Windle, Treasurer of the Arkansas Young Republicans and Jamie Barker, Chairman of the Arkansas Young Republicans have led this year’s event.

“This is an annual event and we are excited to once again have a packed day with panelists, a tour, and discussions with Young Republican elected officials. This is, for some of our members, one of the only times they get to be at the Capitol and meet with their legislators. I’m also really excited that Governor Hutchinson will be in attendance and will be able to greet our attendees,” Jamie said.

The event, starting at 8:00 AM is open to anyone wanting to attend. It will be free to members and elected officials, $25 for non-members. The Arkansas Young Republican Board has also decided to waive the admission for those with membership to the Arkansas College Repubicans and the Arkansas Teenage Republicans.
